Fused zirconium corundum brick is a white solid formed by using pure alumina powder and zircon sand containing about 65% zirconia and 34% silica after being melted in an electric melting furnace and injected into the model for cooling. The structure is composed of the eutectoid of corundum and zirconite and glass phase, which is the eutectoid of corundum phase and zirconite phase in terms of phase, and the glass phase is filled between their crystals.
Fused cast bricks containing ZrO236% to 41% can be obtained. googangyuzhuan zirconia-eorundumrefraetory brick uses industrial alumina powder and selected zircon sand as raw materials to make refractory products with ZrOZ content of 33%~45%. Lead corundum bricks are mainly used in glass industry pool kilns.
The properties and performance indicators of fused zirconium corundum brick The plagioclase phase can resist the erosion of glass liquid, and the glass phase can buffer the stress generated by the volume change so that the product can maintain an airtight structure, but the number is too large, the lower the exudation temperature, the quality of the brick will be worse. The exudation of the glass phase will damage the brick structure and affect the life of the brick. Exudation will release bubbles at the same time and may produce stones insoluble in glass, which will seriously affect the quality of glass. The exudation temperature is usually expressed by the foaming index and the stone index.
