Clay brick surface color is yellow-brown, containing more Fe2O3, and the color is deep. There are black spots on the brick surface, the less black spots, the better quality.
Clay brick is a neutral refractory, load softening start temperature is 1350 ℃, the temperature when using should not exceed 1300 ℃. Good resistance to rapid cooling and emergency performance,up to 20 times。
②、High alumina brick
High alumina brick is the aluminum silicate refractory that content> 48% A1203, the other composition is SiO2, and the amount of impurities is very small.The raw material is mainly rich high-alumina bauxite. ⑤、lightweight and ultra-lightweight bricks
The chemical composition of lightweight bricks are the same as that of heavy bricks, but contains more stomata, which is not only resistant fire and adiabatic. The density of heavy refractory bricks is generally 2.1 to 2.8 g / cm. , The density of light refractory bricks is 0.4 ~ 1.3g / cm3. and the density ultra-lightweight refractory bricks is ≤ 0.3g / cm3. .
Lightweight brick refractoriness is 1100 ~ 1300 ℃, mainly used for the insulation layer in the furnace, reducing the heat loss of equipment and reduce fuel consumption. But its poor thermal stability, low slag resistance and pressure strength cause it can not be used as a direct contact with the flame or slag lining.
⑥、magnesium bricks
there are mainly magnesium bricks, and also magnesium aluminum brick, magnesia chrome brick and so on.
Magnesium brick is content of about 85% magnesium oxide, which is alkaline refractory, and its high refractoriness is above 2000 ℃, but the thermal stability is poor, only 2 to 3 times. Mainly used for alkaline furnace, electric furnace wall and furnace bottom, but also for non-ferrous metal metallurgical furnace and refractory kiln firing kiln.
