Anti-oxidant Magnesia Carbon refractory Brick
Magnesia Carbon brick is the non-fired basic refractory material. It improves the corrosion resistance and slag resistance to add a certain amount of graphite.
We offer high quality Magnesia carbon brick that is a superior product. It is made from quality fused macro-crystalline magnesia, graphite and some additives by high-pressure shaping. With good resistance to thermal shock, corrosion, erosion and oxidation, it is a kind of ideal material for the working lining of the converter and EAF as well as slag line region of ladles.
Material and Technique:
1. Raw materials use fused magnesia, instead of sintered magnesia
Why choose fused magnesia?
Fused magnesia: large grain, less impurities, less silicate phase, good grain directly bonding with less grain boundaries.
Sintered magnesia: fine grain, more impurity and silicate phase, poor directly bonding.
2.The carbon material is mainly scaly graphite
3.B4C or Al2O3 anti-oxidant is added accoring to your requirement, to improve magnesia carbon brick's anti-oxidant properties.
Properties: Magnesia-Carbon brick has good performance in thermal resistance, corrosion resistance and spalling resistance.
Application : widely used in converters, EAFs, ladles and refining furnaces and other Carbon-Containing refractory material.
