The silica bricks produced by our company are divided into three grades: GZ-94, GZ-95, and GZ-96 according to physical and chemical indicators, and the product standard adopted is GB/T2068-200l. If you want to know the price of silica brick, you must know what kind of kiln it is used in. There are three main types:
1. Silica brick for coke oven
Coke oven silica bricks should have the following characteristics:
(1) The softening temperature under load is high. The coke oven silica brick is required to withstand the dynamic load of the coal loading truck on the top of the furnace at a high temperature and requires long-term use without deformation, so the coke oven silica brick is required to have a high softening temperature under load.
(2) High thermal conductivity. Coke is smelted from coking coal by heat transfer from the kiln wall of the combustion chamber in the carbonization chamber, so the silica bricks used to build the combustion chamber wall should have high thermal conductivity.
(3) Good thermal shock resistance. Since the coke oven needs to periodically charge coal and discharge coke, the temperature of the silica bricks on both sides of the combustion chamber wall changes drastically, so the coke oven silica bricks are required to have good thermal shock resistance.
(4) High-temperature volume stability. The grade of silica brick for the coke oven is JG-94, and the product standard is YB/T5013-1997.
1) When the width of spalling is not more than 0.1mm, it is not limited;
2) When the width of spalling is 0.11~0.25mm, the length is not more than 60mm;
3) When the spalling width is 0.26 to 0.50 mm, the length is not more than 30 mm;
4) When the width of spalling is greater than 0.50 real, it is not allowed;
5) When the cross-section spalling extends to the surface of the brick, it is not allowed.
2. Silica brick for hot blast stove
With the increase in the air temperature of the hot blast stove, the use conditions of the refractory materials for the hot blast stove are becoming more and more severe. When the air temperature is higher than 1200 ℃, the traditional high alumina bricks can no longer meet the requirements of high-temperature parts. At high temperatures, silica brick has the advantages of low creep rate, high strength, and good thermal shock resistance, so silica brick is widely used on the top of large hot blast stoves, partition walls,s and the upper part of regenerators.
The grade of silica brick for hot blast stove is RG-95, and the product standard used is YB/T1133-1998.
3. Silica brick for glass kiln
High-quality silica bricks for glass kilns have the characteristics of high silicon oxide content and low melting index and are mainly used for the upper structures of glass kilns such as roofs, breast walls, hanging walls, small furnaces, and regenerators.
