In order to meet the requirements of the progress of the times, the lining of the induction furnace should be researched and developed from the following aspects:
(1) Deepen the research on the performance of the furnace lining, strengthen the theoretical research, especially strengthen the research on the corrosion mechanism and law of the molten metal and slag and the furnace lining and the influence of the furnace lining on smelting, and provide theoretical guidance for the development of new furnace linings.
(2) On the basis of optimizing the gradation of raw material particles to achieve close packing, combined with the phase diagram, develop suitable additives for ramming materials, explore the influence of additives on the properties of ramming materials, and develop high-quality ramming materials for induction furnaces.
(3) Using the multi-phase composite technology of materials, introduce materials such as spinel into the lining materials of induction furnaces, and develop new ramming materials that can improve the slag erosion resistance and thermal shock stability of the lining; develop alkaline materials containing free CaO Materials, oxide-non-oxide composite refractories (introducing β-Sialon, ZrO2 and SiC into oxide materials) and other new induction furnace lining materials.
(4) Improve the furnace lining structure, develop the composite structure technology of the furnace lining, improve the forming equipment of the furnace lining, reduce the labor intensity of the furnace lining masonry workers, reduce the production cost of the furnace lining, and develop a perfect match with the induction furnace operating system and temperature control system. Damaged furnace lining.
(5) Develop coatings for induction furnace linings with excellent performance to improve the corrosion resistance of furnace linings.
(6) Promote the development of induction furnaces in the direction of energy saving and environmental protection, explore and improve the original process technology, combine new technologies with original technologies, organically combine energy saving management with energy saving and environmental protection, and develop various aspects in terms of process, management, raw materials and equipment Adjustment to realize environmental protection and energy saving in induction furnace production.
(7) For different smelting conditions and smelting steel types, select reasonable material types, and explore maintenance and maintenance measures suitable for induction furnace linings according to actual conditions, rationally use resources, and achieve high cost performance.
